Snake Measurer 1.8 ·

A new interface, comparison cards, and the first steps towards Scalebook.

A more modern interface. We went through every screen and gave it a real refresh: cleaner and livelier, with new animations, and switching themes now happens smoothly.

A sharper loupe. The loupe was there before, but now it shows more detail, and there's a crosshair in the middle — your point lands exactly where you aim.

Card preview. Before you send a card, you see it in full — so you know exactly what you're sharing, and you can pick the layout that suits it.

The preview before sharing: a choice of three cards

Comparison cards. We noticed that "then and now" cards are hugely popular. So we made dedicated comparison cards: compare a snake with itself over time, or with your other snakes.

The same-age card: three snakes side by side at the same age

Analytics by age. To go with them, we reworked Analytics: you can now view your snakes by age, independent of dates. Snakes born in different years finally compare fairly.

Connected to Scalebook. The link with Scalebook, our diary app, is starting to work: an animal's species and sex are now shared between the two apps — set them in one and they're already in the other.

Reminders for big collections. We rebuilt reminders for keepers with many animals — they no longer arrive in a pile.

Sign in with Telegram, and Chinese language support.

And as always, we fixed what was getting in the way: sync, photos and small interface details.
