By accessing and using Snake Measurer ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Snake Measurer is a web and mobile application that allows users to measure snake length from photographs using reference objects. The Service provides measurement tools, history storage, and optional account features.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may create an account using:

• Email and password
• Google Sign-In
• Apple Sign-In

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Use the Service to harm animals or promote animal cruelty

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by SerpWidgets and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Service without permission.

You retain ownership of any images you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your images for measurement purposes only.

6. Measurement Accuracy

The measurements provided by Snake Measurer are estimates based on user input and image analysis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of measurements. Factors affecting accuracy include:

• Photo quality and angle
• Reference object placement
• User's point placement accuracy
• Snake positioning in the photo

For critical measurements (veterinary, scientific research), please use professional measuring tools.

7. Free and Premium Services

Snake Measurer offers both free and premium tiers:

• Free: Limited measurements per day, local storage only
• Premium: Unlimited measurements, cloud sync, additional features

Premium subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected. Refunds are handled according to the app store policies (Google Play, Apple App Store) or our refund policy for web purchases.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERPWIDGETS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
